TeSIS

TeSIS stands for "Temu Sosial Ilmiah SMAN 8" its an event that was held on 14-16 October 2010 in Situraja Utara village, Sumedang. on this event, all the 11th grader must do a research, whether the main topic is about social or science. me, myself was part of team 32, took the social topic (beacuse its a lot easier than the science one) and our research entitled : "Pengaruh Tingkat Pendidikan Formal Terhadap Kesejahteraan Keluarga di Desa Situraja Utara, Sumedang, Jawa Barat"

on the first and second day we have to find and search and gather all datas we need. we collected our data by giving questionnaires to 126 houses. 126 houses. could you imagine that? and we have to finish it by the evening. haaaahahahahha._.

on the night of the second day, we have to prepare our data and present it in front of the teachers on the morning of the third day. it was really a hardwork. it was fun too, though. working with my 9 other friends, wrote the data we've got on a carton with colourful marker and calculate the presentation of the family's prosperity. thank god on the presentation day, the teachers mostly said that we've done a great job muahauhuhuahuhauhauhahauhahau i was sooooooo proud and happy.

then we go back to jakarta and make the full version of presentation. the first presentation only contained 3 chapters : preliminary, our basic theory, and our research methods. whileeeee,,,,,,,,in jakarta we have to add 2 more chapters : our results and  conclusion. then we have to presentate it again in front of other teams and the teachers as our judges. this final presentation is called " Sidang TeSIS" sounds really scary huh? thank God (again) we did it yeaaaaaah!! no harsh criticism from the judges woohoohooo.

after all, my TeSIS experience was a really hard work to do because its kinda like thesis for college students. (btw i can't imagine that i have to do MY OWN thesis when i'm already a colleger........its gonna be a hard work to do thesis alone T_T)
