SO I'M OVERLY EXCITED AND OVERLY HAPPY AND THOSE OTHER WORDS YOU CAN PUT HERE TO EXPRESS AN OVERLOADED FEELING OF HAPPINESS OK.
warning: this post will contain A LOT, (and by a lot I mean LOTS) of praises and spazzes about some norwegian guy with gorgeous fair skin and crystal clear blue eyes
I WENT TO SEE SONDRE FOR THE SECOND TIME LAST SATURDAY NIGHT YEAAAAAH YEAAAAAHHH YEAAHHHSSSSSSS.
first time I saw he performed was on 2011, Java Jazz festival. he. was. drop dead. gorgeous. i mean it. who can resist a guy with a verrrryyyyyyyyy fair white milk skin and blue eyes and he sings music with odd yet beautiful choice of words for a love song??????? come on.
ehm. okay.
as I posted on my last post, I went to kampoeng jazz. and tbh, my ultimate main reason I went there was because of Sondre.
watched him with Nape (again. I think it's going to be a tradition for us to see Sondre together because we promised if Sondre ever perform in Indonesia again, we will come together yet again. whooooo) and as usual we jumped around and acted like some hyperactive girls when he's about to sing.
I was worried sick before Sondre's turn to perform because my vision to see the stage often was blocked with people's head (it sucks being short) but fortunately and thank Godddd I had, well, if not the best view, better view when it's just about time for Sondre.
he wore plaid shirt that night and as usual, GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGORGEOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
first song was Airport Taxi Reception. I didn't record this part because actually I had the urge to record his performance right after this song finished, and he made a little chit-chat.
second song was Heartbeat Radio, yaaaay!!!!!! one of my favorite though I don't quite remember all of the lyrics lol. got some recording!!!! but sadly, only for 29 secs sobss.
((update 10.07.2014: the audio has been deleted for some reasons))
third song was I Guess It's Gonna Rain today and before he sang this, he said that this is a very sad song
fourth song: (I Wanna) Call It Love from Duper Sessions.
♫ can we dance instead of walking? ♫ *dead*
fifth: Days That Are Over from Two Way Monologue!!!!!!!!! my second favorite song in the album whoooooo.
♬ days that are over will not continue to last ♪ if you try to construct the past ♪ ♫
the sixth: Modern Nature form Faces Down, and it is also one of the original soundtrack from Dan In Real Life
the seventh and the first that got me into him: Two Way Monologue. can never get enough of this song. nuff said.
eighth: My Hands Are Shaking. reflectively shout "MY HAAAANDS ARE SHAKING FROM CARRYING THIS TOORCH FROM CARRYING THIS TORCH FOR YOUU" but my favorite line is:
"my sheets are tearing from sleeping in too long, sleeping in too long with you"♬
ninth: After All
♪ I like you you too much after too little time♫ I hold back my heart's crazy rambling, the fear that I should overwhelm your smile♩
tenth: Private Caller. heard some local boy said "gue yang tau cuma 3 lagunya" before Sondre play this, and "NAH INI NIH GUE TAU!!! WHAT A SURPRISE I FOUND YOU HERE, WHAT A SURPRISE YOU CAME TO BEING, WHAT A SURPRISE I HELD WITHIN OH!" when he heard the intro (((lol-ing in the back with Nape))
eleventh: Domino. he said that someone asked him to sing is the more jazzy version of domino and yet here it is and I don't think it's "jazzy" enough tbh haha
twelfth: dead passengers
thirteenth: hell no and he asked us to help with the Regina's part, god how I love this song live
fourteenth: Say It All. all of the lines from this song is my favorite tbh........such as I SAID A LITTLE, THE REST IS A RIDDLE, and DO YOU KNOW THE PUNCHLINE? IT'S ALL IN THE PUNCHLINE and IF YOU EVER NEED FORGIVENESS, I GIVE. I HAVE DONE SO MANY INCOMPREHENSIBLE THINGS and IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR AN ANSWER, DIG IN. I HAVE SAID TOO MUCH ALREADY, I CANNOT WIN
fifteenth: Sleep On Needles, I recorded this along with Say It All because he started this song right after he finished say it all. this song is JAAHASHJVA beautiful HAHVSAVFQGF with the guitar SWRSRREWDJBH I can't. "ask me anything you like// I'll reveal everything"
and then he went back stage with no words and we screamed for an encore and then he just jumped out again with a thin green v neck shirt which i just can't resist because it shows his too-white-fair-milky-skin too much and sang No One's Gonna Come to close the night.
and he said the last time he came was for Java Jazz Festival and he asked to crowd "were you there?" and Nape and I raised our hands and shouted crazily "YEEEESS!" but of course he didn't hear us because we were standing way toooooooooo far from the stage SOBS.
OH AND I GET THE OFFICIAL T-SHIRT SDFGUIGDHWVD HE BROUGHT THEM STRAIGHT FROM NEW YORK SO JAHDGGFWGEGWEG AND IT WAS BASICALLY ONLY 2 SHIRTS LEFT WHEN NAPE AND I CAME TO THE MERCHANDISE BOOTH SO HAVSHGGGHF well at first I got this little-tiny-itsy-bitsy feel of regret because the shirt looks just like Yves Saint Laurent shirt because it has this big S and L on it and I'm afraid people would think that it is the "kaos bajakan gak jadi" version of YSL and thought "WHY THE HELL DIDN'T I JUST BUY THE BOOTLEGS EP??!!?!?!?!?!!" but the next morning I found that there is this "Sondre Lerche" printed on the bottom of the L letter so fufufufufu
yet that was another great performance of Sondre I've ever seen and I'm looking forward for him to come again and again and again and again and again and again \o/
